SUMMARY:Utah Spartan Race - Its a Beast!
DESCRIPTION:In 2022\, 6 Sebo team members participated in the Spartan Beast Race. It was close to 14 miles and we climbed close to 4\,000′ in elevation. Don’t enter this without proper training! We’ll have a group of runners completing the race together (really\, it’s more like a hike similar in difficulty to hiking to the summit of Mt Timpanogos). \nYou’ll need to register and pay for the event at Spartan.com. You need to be in good shape to do this hike. According to my Strava Stats\, it is approximately 3.8 miles on the way up (7.7 mi round trip)\, with an elevation climb of approximately 2\,700′. That’s over 2.5x the elevation climb of hiking the Y. It’s hard\, but the view is incredible!
