DESCRIPTION:Ready for a quick\, but challenging way to kick start your day? Hiking the Y is one of my favorite early morning activities in the summertime. Great conversations and the beautiful views of the valley as the sun peeks over the mountains make the very steep incline of the hike totally worth it. Plus\, it’s rigorous enough to get the heart moving while short enough to fit in before a busy day. Wear good hiking shoes. Plan on 90 minutes even though it’s only 2 miles round trip.

SUMMARY:Utah Spartan Race - Its a Beast!
DESCRIPTION:In 2022\, 6 Sebo team members participated in the Spartan Beast Race. It was close to 14 miles and we climbed close to 4\,000′ in elevation. Don’t enter this without proper training! We’ll have a group of runners completing the race together (really\, it’s more like a hike similar in difficulty to hiking to the summit of Mt Timpanogos). \nYou’ll need to register and pay for the event at Spartan.com. DESCRIPTION:Ready for a challenging with a payoff of an incredible view of Utah County? Come hike to the top of the iconic Squaw Peak! \nPLEASE NOTE: This is a steep hike. You need to be in good shape to do this hike. According to my Strava Stats\, it is approximately 3.8 miles on the way up (7.7 mi round trip)\, with an elevation climb of approximately 2\,700′. That’s over 2.5x the elevation climb of hiking the Y. It’s hard\, but the view is incredible!
