DESCRIPTION:Everyone has seen the iconic Y above BYU’s campus. But as I ask around\, I’m surprised how many people haven’t done the short but steep hike. Wear good hiking shoes. We will do a double hike where we do it twice! We will be hiking quickly. If you are a slower hiker\, it might be better to join me on one of my other Hike the Y events. SUMMARY:Khyv Peak Hike in Rock Canyon
DESCRIPTION:Ready for a challenging with a payoff of an incredible view of Utah County? Come hike to the top of the iconic Khyv (Squaw) Peak! \nPLEASE NOTE: This is a steep hike. You need to be in good shape to do this hike. According to my Strava Stats\, it is approximately 3.8 miles on the way up (7.7 mi round trip)\, with an elevation climb of approximately 2\,700′. That’s over 2.5x the elevation climb of hiking the Y. It’s hard\, but the view is incredible!
