Meet the Business

BinkyBro is a children’s lifestyle brand that specializes in stylish, trendy hats and apparel for girls and boys. Their products include snapbacks, beanies, and other clothing items designed with a focus on surf, snow, skate. BinkyBro aims to provide high-quality, fashionable accessories that both kids and parents will love. The brand emphasizes adventure, outdoor fun, and a cool, laid-back style.

Marketing Goals

We partnered with BinkyBro to improve their visibility online and drive quality leads to their site. Over the course of our working with them, they’ve experienced substantial increases in organic website traffic and conversion rates, reflecting the impact of a strong SEO foundation and continued optimization. Specifically, Binky Bro wanted to increase visitors from non-branded keyword searches (i.e. “new” traffic). Data comparing the last 3 months of 2024 with the last 3 months of 2023 show an impressive rise in organic clicks from non-branded searches.

The Challenge

The children’s clothing space is extremely competitive. Cute, trendy items are in high demand and the market is stuffed with companies trying to capitalize. We know how often a consumer scrolls past the first 8-10 results onto the second page of Google’s search results (almost never), so it was imperative for us to get BinkyBro’s website on the first page for non-branded searches. With so many companies vying for those top spots, this was a tall order.

Our Approach

In-Depth SEO Audit

Since we were going to be going after top non-branded keywords, we started by doing in-depth competitive analyses. For each of our chosen keywords, we wanted to get a holistic view of which of our competitors were already ranking, as well as what strategies we would need to put in place in order to increase our own rankings.

On-Page SEO

For each of our chosen keywords, we identified pages that could be used to target them (1 page per keyword). If there was a keyword that didn't have an existing page (or even a page that could be adapted), we created a new page. For each page, we made sure our keyword was well-represented in the title, headers, content, and URL while maintaining quality content.

Monthly Competitive/Keyword Research

By regularly refreshing our keyword targeting and competitive analyses, we maintained a grasp on the competitive landscape surrounding our chosen keywords.

Link-Building Strategy

For each of the pages we adapted and/or created, we used link-building to boost authority and help them climb in the search engine rankings.
